Rubén Carrasco

Mexico, Puebla

Rubén Carrasco is a prolific Mexican artist on the international art scene. In search of better opportunities, he left his hometown of Puebla for the Mexican Caribbean, where he honed his skills by working in tourism-related theaters. This experience allowed him to develop his own artistic voice, leading to the creation of murals, installations, and exhibitions in countries such as the United States, England, Israel, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

Between 2014 and 2020, Rubén founded the collective 5 Wolves No Pigs and the International Public Art Festival (IPAF), focused on urban arts. He expanded these projects to countries like South Africa, Mexico, Canada, and Martinique, gaining widespread recognition from cultural organizations, governments, the press, and the artistic community.

Additionally, Rubén has been featured in prominent publications such as Graffiti Art Magazine and in books like Faces au Mur by Cyrille Gouyette and Muros Somos by Cynthia Arvide, among others. He has also collaborated with well-known companies such as Derichebourg, Casio, Xcaret Group, Hotel Paris (Saint-Tropez), and the Vive Latino Festival.

Currently based in Montreal, Canada, Rubén continues to participate in various projects worldwide, including notable exhibitions in Paris at the Goldshteyn Saatort Gallery, Piscine Molitor, Le MUR Oberkampf, and the Museum of Hunting and Nature.
